Okay- I am going to write about our trip to Edmonton- but right now I'm more annoyed at my car so I'll get to that later!!!
Friday, after driving to Edmonton, my car died. I was rather annoyed- I managed to pull into a parking lot and my aunt came and picked us up. A couple hours later, her fiance went to check on the car and it started on it own- no boost or anything. Weird. So he checked out a few things and they looked okay- and we got going on Sunday with no problems. We got to my uncles without incident and then a couple hours later when I was ready to leave... the car crapped out on me again. Sigh. My uncle cleaned off the battery terminals and things seemed to be working again. I made it home and into work on Monday then this morning- the stupid thing wouldn't start. The dealership suspects the alternator. I'm a little annoyed- I'm pretty sure the alternator should last a bit longer. The car is only 5 years old.
So I'm trying to work from home today- which is not easy since my normally happy little Bug has been a terror this morning. He started off mad because he wanted to go for a drive and was furious that we couldn't go anywhere. Then he was just screaming and pounding at the door or getting into trouble all morning long. It's a little after 11am now and he's finally in a reasonably good mood.
Now, if only my mood would recover... Okay- I've got some files from work that I need to work on. I'll see how that goes with the terrible tantruming toddler. I suspect I'm not going to get as much done as I had anticipated...

But... here's a link to the photos from the weekend. Despite the car troubles, we had a great time and Lochlan had so much fun playing with everyone. It was a good weekend.
